Refund and Returns Policy
(Covers Consulting, Document Services, Digital Services & Printing/Installation Work)
At Myanmar Eduwork Consultancy Pte. Ltd. (“MEC”), we are committed to delivering professional services with clarity and fairness. Our policy distinguishes between intangible services (consultation, application processing, digital work) and tangible deliverables (printed items, menus, stickers, films).
Because many services involve professional time, resources, and customised outputs, refunds are limited and granted only under defined conditions.
1. Nature of MEC Services
MEC provides a combination of:
1.1 Intangible Services
- PR / Citizenship / Student placement
- Eligibility assessments
- Consultation sessions
- Translation
- Notarization & statutory declaration support
- Digitalization consulting
- Website development
- Menu creation & design
- Strategy consulting & business efficiency services
1.2 Tangible & Customised Deliverables
- Printed menus
- Stickers, films, signage
- Physical menu books / printed materials
- Installed stickers/films
- Printed or certified translated documents
Because both tangible (customised deliverables) and intangible (consulting, application work) services require significant investment in manpower, time, design, and preparation, most services are non-refundable once work has begun or output is produced.
2. Refund Eligibility (Limited Cases Only)
Refunds may be considered ONLY under the following conditions:
2.1 Before Any Work Has Started
You may receive a full or partial refund if:
- MEC has not started assessments, consultations, design work, printing, translation, or document preparation.
- No manpower or resources have been allocated.
An administrative fee (S$30–S$50) may apply.
2.2 MEC Is Unable to Deliver the Service
A refund may be considered if:
- MEC cannot execute the agreed service due to internal operational reasons.
- A technical or production failure makes delivery impossible.
Refund will be proportional to the work not yet completed.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
3.1 Once Work Has Started
Refunds are NOT allowed after MEC has begun:
- Consultation or eligibility assessment
- Document review or preparation
- Translation work
- Notary/statutory declaration preparation
- Website or system development
- UX/UI design
- Menu design or layout
- Printing preparation
- Sticker/film sizing & measurement
- On-site installation arrangements or manpower booking
3.2 Customised Printed or Produced Items
Refunds are not applicable for:
- Printed menus
- Stickers / Films
- Vinyl / Decal printing
- Signage
- Special-size printing
- Delivered or installed items
Customised items cannot be resold or reused; therefore, all printed or produced items are non-refundable.
3.3 PR / School / Visa / Government Applications
Refunds cannot be issued for:
- Rejections or delays by ICA, MOE, immigration offices, or any government body.
- Application withdrawal by the client after MEC has started preparation or submission.
- Outcomes beyond MEC’s control.
3.4 Client-Related Issues
Refunds are not allowed if:
- Client changes their mind after work begins
- Client provides incomplete or inaccurate information
- Client fails to supply required documents
- Client misses appointments or deadlines
- Client requests changes after design/translation/printing is completed
4. Revisions, Redesign, or Re-Printing
4.1 For Digital or Design Services
Reasonable revisions (1–2 rounds depending on package) are included.
Additional revisions may incur fees.
4.2 For Printing Services
If MEC is at fault (e.g., production error):
- MEC will offer re-printing at no cost.
- No cash refunds for printed materials.
If the client approved the design but later requests changes:
- Re-printing costs must be fully paid by the client.
4.3 For Sticker/Film Installations
If installation defects occur within 7 days:
- MEC will fix or reinstall the affected area for free.
- No refunds will be issued.
5. Deposits & Instalment Plans
- Deposits are strictly non-refundable once work has started.
- If a client stops responding or refuses to proceed, MEC may terminate the service without refund.
- For instalment plans: non-payment may result in service suspension.
6. Notary, Statutory Declaration & Translation Services
Because these services involve legal coordination and professional preparation:
- Fees are non-refundable once the service begins.
- If the client needs corrections due to MEC’s error, MEC will revise at no extra charge.
- Government/Notary fees paid to third parties are always non-refundable.
7. Service Delivery Issues
If MEC misses a scheduled consultation or design review:
- A free rescheduling will be offered.
- If MEC cannot deliver after multiple attempts due to internal reasons, a partial refund may be considered for the undelivered portion only.
8. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be sent to:

- Receipt or proof of payment
- Reason for request
MEC will respond within 3–7 business days.
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method.
10. Final Decision
MEC reserves the right to make the final determination on refund eligibility based on:
- Type of service
- Work completed
- Resources allocated
- Costs already incurred
